My Story
Dr. Dwight White was born and raised in Gainesville, FL and is an alum of Buchholz High School. During his time in high school, Dr. Dwight also competed in track & field and later earned a scholarship to compete at the collegiate level at a D2 school named Shorter University, located in Rome, GA. Dr. Dwight competed at the collegiate level for 2 years and also qualified for All-American twice and his team also won the 2014 NCCAA Men's Indoor Track & Field National Championship. After Dr. Dwight finished his 2014 track & field career, he decided to transfer to the University of South Florida to focus on his academics and work towards his goal of becoming a medical practitioner. Dr. Dwight's main goal was to be a physical therapist, until he was introduced to chiropractic care by his high-school friend and now fellow cohort.Unfamiliar with the profession, Dr. Dwight immediately went to a chiropractor to learn more about the profession and discovered they could also help with headaches/migraines. This intrigued Dr. Dwight due to the fact he has suffered from headaches/migraines since he was a child and worked with different medical professionals without any relief. Dr. Dwight received care tailored to his condition and immediately noticed a decrease in his symptoms after suffering for over 20 years. He instantly loved the holistic approach that was taken to treat his condition and later applied to Palmer College of Chiropractic located in Port Orange, FL, where he completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. Dr. Dwight is a board-certified Chiropractic physician and also board-certified in physiotherapy. Dr. Dwight is extremely passionate about health and utilizes a holistic and conservative approach to all his patients. When Dr. Dwight is not treating patients, he spends his free time lifting weights, discovering new music, and spending time with his pup, Foster.
